Location位置
This area stretches along the Hualien-Taitung Coast beginning in the north at the estuary of the Hualien River and ending in the south at Hsiaoyeliu near Taitung. The entire area extends more than 170 kilometers and covers 39,757 hectares.
花蓮溪口至台東小野柳，全長170公里，面積39.757公頃。

Travel Tips 風景簡介
【Hernan Temple 和南寺】 The largest Buddhist temple along the East Coast Highway.
為本區最大之寺院，以觀音菩薩塑相聞名。
【Pachi Overlook芭奇眺望台】 It offers a view of the entire stretch in Chichi Bay. Parkings are available.
觀賞磯岐海灣之最佳地點，有停車場。
【Chichi Bay磯岐海灣】The first sandy bay south of Hualien having a terraced topography,is ideal for camping and swimming.
砂岸地形優美,段丘地形發達，可從事游泳、戲水、露營活動。
【Fengpin豐濱】The main town of ECNSA's northern part. Highway IIA connects from here to Kuanfu, in the Hualien-Taitung valley.
為本海岸線之較大城鎮，有公路通往縱谷線之光復。
【Shihmen(Stone Gate) 石門】This coast features many eroded caves and platforms. Named for one of the caves, it is shaped like an arch.
此段海灘有一巨大海蝕洞穴，居民稱之為蝕門洞。
【Shihtiping(Stone Stair Flats) 石梯坪】Named for the stairlike way it ascends fom the ocean. To the south, halfway up the hills along the highway, is a cave called Yeuhtung(Moon Cave), which is about 70 meters long and affords another marvelous sight.
以奇石怪岩聞名沿岸，石盤如階梯般突伸入海，綿亙長達一公里，公路右側山腹中有一岩洞，名為"月洞"，內有鐘乳石、石筍伏流等景觀,長約七十公尺，洞中有水深約一公尺。
【Hsiukuluan River Mouth 秀姑巒溪口】The river is crossed by the 120-meter-long Changhong(Long Rainbow) Bridge, to the north of which is the intersection of Highway 11 and Jueikang Highway. This place is also the terminus for Hsiukuluan rafting trips down the river, whose rapids are famed for their white, smooth stones.
為秀姑巒溪出海口，有長虹橋橫跨其上，近年來盛行之泛舟活動以此為終點，溪中白石點綴出"秀姑漱玉"之景緻。
【Pahsien(Eight Immortals) Cave八仙洞】This scenic spot comprised of 14 caves was formed by the erosion of the sea and the elevation of the earth's crust. Archaeologists have discovered the remains of paleolothic pre-pottery culture here, and the caves have been designated as a national archaeologic site.
乃一海蝕岩壁，大小共十四個洞穴，考古學者曾在此發現舊石器時代之遺物，為國家一級古蹟。

【Changpin長濱】Similar in size to Fengpin, is also the main town of this area.
與豐濱之面積一般，為本海岸線之較重要城鎮。
【Wushihpi 烏石鼻】With a promontory of coral rock jutting out over the sea ,this site is well known for its fishing.
為本區有名之重要釣場。
【Shihyuesan(Stone Umbrella) 石雨傘】 A rocky promentory stretches out into the sea .One of the rocks is topped by another large rock, producing a shape like umbrella, from which the area gets its name.
是海岸上升地形，有一列向海突伸之海蝕岩石，中有一石形似雨傘。
【Sanhsientai(Three Immortals Terrace) 三仙台】This small offshore is formed by volcanic blocks. This island is covered with oddly shaped rock, and other topographical features. It is home to numerous species of plants, and the sea, rich in marine life, makes the area ideal spot for skin diving.
離岸近之火山岩小島，退潮時可與岸相連，島上奇岩怪石林立，海岸植物種類多，魚類聚集,是潛水好地方。
【Chengkung成功】The largest town in ECNSA and the largest fishing harbor on the east coast. Its seafood is renowned far and wide.
是本區最大城鎮，也是東海岸最大漁港,海產出名。
【Tungho東河】Similar in size to Fengpin, is the main town of this area. To the north is Mawuku River, which is crossed by the Tungho Bridge. North of the bridge is the intersection of Highway 11 and Highway 23, leading to Taiyuan and Fuli to the Northwest, in the Hualien-Taitung valley.
與豐濱一般，以北有一東河橋，橋旁有公路通往富里。
【Dulan都蘭】This is a large valley, to the west of which is Mt. Dulan, once noted for producing large quantities of jewels. Nearby is the Giant Stone Culture Remains, which have been designated as a national archaeological site.近都蘭山之大部落，山中曾盛產寶石，有都蘭林場供遊憩，附近巨石文化遺址為三級古蹟。
【Running Water Running Up水往上流】Visitors have a chance to exercise their brains and see the strange phenomenon.
由公路旁之叉路而上，可見此奇觀.。
【Sanyuan Beach 杉原海水浴場】Stretching over one kilometer, with gentle waves and crystal clear water, this is the best beach in ECNSA in swimming ,also an ideal place for skin diving.
為台東唯一之海水浴場，長約一、五公里，亦適合浮潛。
【Hsiaoyeliu(Little Yeliu) 小野柳】Named after Yeliu on the norht coast of Taiwan because of its similarly eroded rocks. On clear days, you can easily see Green Island from the shore.
海蝕景觀似野柳而聞名，天晴時可清楚見到32公里外的綠島。
